I worked with YDM during my visit in Putzmeister facility in Turkey. They implemented an effective quality control and continuous improvement systems. Main focus was on systematic development of welding process via preventive measures. I found that YDM has build a strong QR-QC system to dedicated for effective error avoidance system. For the Putzmeister facility in China I have adapted parts of YDM’s methods for error analysis, training of welders and process monitoring and was able to achieve significant improvement. I was impressed by YDM’s focus on long term sustainability of the archievements.
